3-4 Program
1. When
is registration and what is the cost of the program?
a.
$140
b.
Registration period runs from November 21, 07 – February
1, 2008
c.
A late fee of $25 will be charged after February 1st.
2. What
equipment will my child need to have to play?
a.
Lacrosse stick, helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, cup,
cleats and mouth guard.
3. Where
and when will practices be held?
Practices
will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Wilkes Elementary
School, upper field from 4 pm to 5:30 pm beginning Tuesday,
February 12th.
4. Who
is the Coach and what is their background in coaching lacrosse?
Shannon
Evans has been coaching our 3-4 program for three years and
is a professional educator and certified coach. Shannon focuses
on teaching the fundamentals of lacrosse, team building skills
and making practice fun.
5. Do
you have rental equipment available?
Some
equipment is available for use during the season, secured with
a deposit. Please email Coach Visco at jev@nwlink.com
for an appointment to see what might be available.
6. Where
will games be played during the season?
The
home games are played at Woodward Middle School Field on Saturdays.
The away games are posted on the web site and information distributed
by the team parent and Coach.
7. What
are the goals for the ¾ program this year?
Players
will learn how to catch, throw and run with the ball. Players
learn teamwork, game fundamentals, and sportsmanship. Most of
all they will have fun!
